William J. Petros has dedicated his career to civil trial and appellate litigation in both federal and state courts, earning a reputation as one of Florida’s premier trial lawyers. Over his distinguished career, Mr. Petros has successfully represented individual and corporate clients in complex cases, achieving notable victories and setting a standard for excellence in litigation.

Mr. Petros has an impressive track record in commercial litigation, including defending an international hotel corporation in two multimillion-dollar cases. In one case, he secured a defense verdict at trial, and in the other, he obtained a complete award for the defense, including attorney fees and costs, through arbitration. Additionally, he successfully defended a publicly traded company in a multimillion-dollar breach of contract and fiduciary duty case, prevailing at trial and on appeal.

Beyond commercial litigation, Mr. Petros has handled high-stakes wrongful death cases with outstanding results. He secured multimillion-dollar awards in federal court for adult children whose parents died in a boating accident and in a state court jury trial for minor twins whose mother died during childbirth due to medical negligence.
